D-Panthenol, CAS number 16485-10-2, also known as Provitamin B5 or dexpanthenol is a good moisturizer and has anti-inflammatory and anti-irritation properties. It is an ideal addition to sun screen and after sun formulations to reduce redness and irritation.

AakoVit is available as both 100% and 75% concentrations, as AakoVit P100 and P75 respectively.
